Creating the Right Real Estate Solutions

Craftsman Style Home

The new normal as I have heard it called is something of a conundrum. No more marketing hype, fancy language of slick brochures… today, what you see is what you get. People are on the hunt for a bargain, be it a foreclosure, short sale, or distressed property that is priced to sell. They want to know what it will cost, when they can have it, and what it will look like.

Well the real estate pickings are slim, those properties that were “move in ready” are pretty much picked over and now you have the properties that need some TLC. Earlier this year we worked with a client from Tampa to find the right property… What we found was a diamond in the rough that needed a lot of polishing.  This particular house had good bones (almost 7000 square feet of good bones), 9.5 acres of wooded property and sound construction. After many hours of design planning, budgeting and discussion with the client, we realized that this property could be exactly what the client wanted. Even with the cost and inconvenience of remodeling, this was the right solution. The end result is a magnificent house that has appraised for more than its total cost. This particular house reflects the tastes and lifestyles of its owners. They could not be more pleased.

So why am I telling you this? So you will be open to the idea. The right solution may involve seeing beyond what you see. Fortunately we can help. We began our company as a design/build company and added real estate through our affiliation with Coldwell Banker High Country Realty to complete the service offering to our clients. We deal with mostly out of town or out of state customers that need a one stop shop to provide services that are comprehensive, convenient and credible. So when you find your diamond in the rough, know that we are here to help with the right solution.
