This North Georgia property served as the family’s weekend retreat for 30 years. Now with grown children and several grandchildren, the owners were ready to make Baileywick a fulltime home.

Two Cabins, One Great Experience

The new master suite provides generous space to relax in with large walk in closets, a master bathroom with a soaking tub and generous walk in shower. Attention was given to the placement of windows and doors to assure each room had a view of the river.

The original small two-bedroom cabin now perfectly joins the new construction featuring an ample open plan that is perfect for entertaining family and friends.

Indoor and outdoor living easily blend into one terrific space to gather under the stars or enjoy casting a fly rod into the river.

For the past 5 years I have had the pleasure of working with Modern Rustic Homes and their clients. I helped with the decision making process for all the plumbing, lighting and appliance selections.

The building process can be very complex and time consuming. Everyone at Modern Rustic Homes is aware of that and they do a great job to make the build a much easier process for everyone involved.
